In regards to alternative energy such as wind and solar power it seems that many Americans are establishing a “Not in my backyard” attitude and are reluctant to adapt. As seen in Cape Code, many individuals are opposed to building the wind farm out at sea (these of course are the individuals that own multi-million dollar homes on the coast). The primary argument against the wind farm from these individuals is that they will distort the horizon.

Hmmm... Horizon? Climate?? Does seem like a real tough call, doesn't it?
