It’s great to see how China is suggesting that other countries should limit their Greenhouse gas emissions, when they alone are responsible for a good 20% themselves. The majority of factories in China have no standards for emissions. China is building on average, one coal-fired plant each week and they intend to continue this for some time. (Christian Science Monitor). There are also a lot of developed countries that are making efforts to decrease GHG emissions by joining the Kyoto Protocol and turning to alternative energy.
As for the 'brain drain,' German chocolate will only amuse individuals for so long. Glad to see that German family saw the potential of Canada: mounties, maple syrup, changing of the guard, colo(u)rful money, and the beaver.
